Feast of Crispian (FoC) is pleased to be collaborating with Debra Brehmer and Portrait Society Gallery on their exciting and thoughtful project Art Against The Odds — Wisconsin Prison Art Exhibition
In conjunction with Portrait Society Gallery of Contemporary Art, Art Against the Odds is an exhibition of work by incarcerated artists in Wisconsin.
More than 30 artists will be included in this project to amplify the humanity of the state’s imprisoned population and show how art can be a life saving activity for those who have little contact with the outside world.
This project is supported by Bader Philanthropies; the Anonymous Fund of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation; The Greater Milwaukee Foundation; the Buck Foundation; the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design; Greystone Foundation; and Lisa Groskopf-Gleason.
Any sized donation will help fund the exhibition, the catalog, and the touring of the exhibition to four additional state locations, and all donations are tax exempt. Thank you!
Art Against the Odds will open in January 2023 at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
